CMK Arabian

CMK stands for Crabbet-Maynesboro-Kellogg. It is a synthetic entity defined after the fact, very much like "Al Khamsa" or "Straight Egyptian," rather than the product of any single breeding program (as "Crabbet" or "Al-Marah" would be). The bloodline requirements for CMK are not as restrictive as are those of other preservationist groups. By definition, "A CMK Arabian traces in at least 75% of its pedigree to traditional Blunt/Davenport breeding of the 1950's: any or all of the horses of the Reese (Old California) and Dean (Midwest) coordinator circles; other Maynesboro, Crabbet/Old English horses; and unique North American desert lines. It traces to a CMK sire line and a dam line established in North America by 1950."

El-Halim Amir

(AM Clem Dreamon -r x SX La Quinta -r)1996, bay. Amir is a AMAHA Halter Champion and and a multi-performance winner. He was the 2004 and 2005 AMAHA Nationals Gymkhana class winner for barrel racing. Live show placed 4th in OF China division against H-R's. Amir has just begun to compete in IPABRA where he has placed in the top three in the Jr. Sire class as well as Stallion and Arabian halter classes. His sire is by the famous Dreamazon. His dam was the 1976 Reserve National Champion Mare and dam of *Lyphard, Brazilian National Champion. El-Halim Amir is the sire of IPABRA halter winner Anbar and IPABRA Champion and Reserve Champion foal Harlequin Shamrock. He is a *Serafix grandson and has lines to AM Canadian Beau, Azraff, Al-Marah Ibn Indraff, Witez II, Gulastra and Ghazi. Renaissance Resinry "Amankhar" OF resin sculpted by Judy Renee Pope.

(Nafis Mirage x Silver Firahez) 1988, grey. Her name means "velvet kiss" she is better known as Velvet around the barn. She is the daughter of NAN nominated and multi-Champion, Nafis Mirage. Her dam has close up, hard to find Crabbet lines and is MEPSA qualified. Bred by Al-Nafis Arabian Stud. Breyer LB Arabian by Montecello Studios.

(BH Jaipur -r x Topazetta) 1994, chestnut. Ruby Cat's maternal grandsire GA Topaz was chosen as part of the Kellogg Heritage herd at Cal Poly Pomona to reintroduce the old Kellogg blood. Other lines include Poly Royal, El Gato, Skowronek, Abu Farwa, *Raseyn, *Nasik, Ferseyn, Galan and Naseem. BSO
